Urban Bird Foundation- Burrowing Owl Conservation Network

Urban Bird Foundation works for the protection of burrowing owls and other native birds in the places we call home – our communities. As a nonprofit organization, Urban Bird combines on-the-ground restoration, advocacy, research, and wildlife protection with training and education to achieve lasting conservation in urban and suburban communities. Through its Burrowing Owl Conservation Network program, the organization has emerged as a leader for saving imperiled burrowing owls. Since 2008, Urban Bird has created burrowing owl preserves, provided field-learning experiences to more than 2,600 students, restored more than 10,000 acres, and responded to more than 5,200 calls for burrowing owl rescues, habitat protection, and wildlife assistance in communities across the United States.
